The Chicago Blackhawks rounded out their 2026 NHL Draft by selecting defenseman Alexander Ivanov and forward William Sorbrand in the seventh round. Ivanov, picked 194th overall, is a 6-foot-2, 181-pound left-handed defenseman from Ak Bars Kazan. He recorded no points in 36 games last season but has professional experience in Russia. Sorbrand was selected 200th overall, boasting a height of 6-foot-4 and weight of 210 pounds. He recorded 18 points in the Swedish U20 league and has made appearances in the SHL. This concludes the Blackhawks' draft choices, having selected five players in total.
