Blades negotiate with Leicester for Harry Souttar transfer

Sheffield United is engaged in talks with Leicester City regarding the transfer of defender Harry Souttar. Manager Chris Wilder confirmed that discussions are ongoing to bring the Australian international back to the club. Souttar spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Bramall Lane, where he received positive feedback from supporters. Wilder expects signings to arrive ahead of the EFL Cup first round against Mansfield Town on August 9. The club is also seeking reinforcements in other positions, including winger Rabbi Matondo, while planning to offload defender Mark McGuinness.
