Blake Adams, a former K-State pitcher, debuted in Major League Baseball for the Colorado Rockies on August 24, 2026. He entered the game in the seventh inning with Colorado trailing 8-2 and faced nine batters, allowing five earned runs over one inning. Adams, who was drafted in the 13th round of the 2022 MLB Draft, becomes the fifth former K-State player to reach the majors in five seasons.
