In a recent practice, Grupe successfully converted 7 of 8 field goal attempts, bringing his overall training camp performance to 27 of 30. In contrast, Spencer Shrader struggled, making only 4 of 8 attempts, primarily missing attempts over 50 yards. As per special teams coordinator Brian Mason, both practice performance and preseason evaluations will be critical in his final assessment.
