(Photo by Kevin Sabitus/WWE) | WWE via Getty Images Blake Monroe has been a visible presence on WWE television since making her debut on the main roster earlier this summer, but what she’s hasn’t been seen doing is actually wrestle. After videos promoting her call-up from NXT, Monroe first turned up on SmackDown on June 27 when she attacked Giulia. Since then, she’s been used in backstage segments, but complaints have been getting louder and louder on social media about how she’s yet to compete on WWE’s blue brand. Along with doing quite a bit of talking on WWE TV, the English star has also been giving interviews to media outlets and podcasts. During a recent talk with TMZ’s Inside the Ring podcast, she revealed she’s been offered a chance to appear on the hit reality show Love Island on two occasions. She also told The Wrestling Classic recently that she might get a new entrance for when she makes her eventual main roster debut. Before we get that debut, though, we get more appearances like the one she made on Monday’s edition of SPORTbible’s Snack Wars, where she compared treats from the U.S. with similar items from the U.K. During the taste test, Monroe was her characteristically humorous and sarcastic self, taking swipes at American culture while criticizing some of the nation’s popular snacks. At one point, The Glamour did offer a compliment to an American treat when she noted “you can’t really go wrong with a donut” after eating a pastry from Krispy Kreme. But as amusing as her Snack Wars commentary was, one fan remarked on X (Twitter) about her appearance: “they have her doing everything but wrestling.” Surprisingly, Monroe noticed the comment, and even more surprisingly, she responded. “Why wrestle when I could get paid to eat donuts with a fork,” she wrote on X. why wrestle when i could get paid to eat donuts with a fork https://t.co/bRWTNvVbYK — blakey ♡ (@BlakeMonroeWWE) August 10, 2026 The original poster conceded the point to Monroe, writing back: “at least you’re getting that bag queen.” What do you think, Cagesiders? Is WWE underutilizing The Glamour by keeping her from the ring? Or do these appearances only build anticipation for her main roster debut? Let us know in the comments.
