Blake Monroe makes her long-awaited debut on SmackDown

NXT call-up Blake Monroe has been “coming soon” to WWE SmackDown for the last two months. She did technically appear in a backstage segment for less than 20 seconds on an episode last month, and also worked a dark match before that, but her WWE status remained at “coming soon.” Diehard fans of former WWE star Veer Mahaan will be happy to see that Monroe is no longer a threat to break his record for coming, because “The Glamour” finally showed up in a SmackDown ring on tonight’s (June 26) episode. She did so after the mid-card mega powers exploded, with Giulia picking up a hard-fought win over Kiana James. Monroe ambushed Giulia in the post-match segment, following up on her threat from last week’s hype video.
