Blake Rohrer transitions from D-III champion to Duke football

Blake Rohrer, a wide receiver who led Wisconsin-River Falls to its first Division III national championship, has signed with Duke University. Rohrer had a non-traditional path, initially opting to play basketball at Grand Canyon University before returning to football after being inspired by NFL workouts with Minnesota Vikings players. He broke multiple records at Wisconsin-River Falls, before entering the transfer portal and committing to Duke in April 2026. As he joins the Blue Devils, Rohrer aims to contribute to the defending ACC champions.
