Blaze Jordan shines early in MLB career with Cardinals after Red Sox trade
Summary

Blaze Jordan, a former Red Sox prospect, has made an immediate impact with the St. Louis Cardinals. After being traded to the Cardinals for Steven Matz, Jordan has played eight games, posting a.300 batting average with seven RBIs and four extra-base hits. His defensive versatility at third and first base, alongside a strong offensive start, positions him as a contributor for a Cardinals team vying for a postseason spot. Despite his success, Jordan's performance against left-handed pitching remains a focus, as he has only registered nine plate appearances against lefties so far.
