Bloomington area high school football stat leaders emerge through three weeks

Through the first three weeks of the IHSAA football season, several players across the Bloomington area lead their respective statistical categories. Fisher Pugh of North leads the passing charts with 729 yards and eight touchdowns, while North’s Nate Walker and Rashon English have been primary targets. In the rushing game, Owen Valley’s Jake Heidrick, South’s Hayden Clark, and North’s Carter Matthew share the top spot in scoring, each recording eight touchdowns. Defensive production shows North’s Anthony Wrancher and Owen Valley’s Walker LaGrange tied for the lead in solo tackles with 30 each. Owen Valley’s Tye Voss has recorded 12 tackles for loss to pace that category. These rankings cover performances from the opening weeks of the season as teams continue their schedules.
