Blue Jays place Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on 7-day IL for concussion symptoms

The Toronto Blue Jays placed six-time All-Star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on the seven-day injured list due to concussion symptoms. Guerrero sustained the injury during a collision at third base in Friday's game against the Yankees, where he appeared dazed following the play. Manager John Schneider reported that Guerrero had a headache following the incident. To fill Guerrero's roster spot, the Blue Jays selected outfielder Daz Cameron from Triple-A Buffalo. Left-hander Ricky Tiedemann was also recalled, while right-hander Chase Lee was optioned to Triple-A.
