Blue Wahoos host youth FunBall clinic on September 12 at Blue Wahoos Stadium

The Blue Wahoos are launching a non-traditional youth clinic called FunBall at Blue Wahoos Stadium on the morning of September 12. Geared toward children ages 6 to 12, the event emphasizes an accessible experience over intensive training, featuring elements like custom walk-up songs, a photo station, and a whiffle ball home run contest. Participants pay $40 for the two-hour session, which includes a T-shirt and a ticket to that evening's game against the Biloxi Shuckers. Local high school players will assist in staffing the clinic to guide participants through the activities. This event follows a successful pilot program held at the Kansas City Monarchs’ Legend Field earlier this season. The Blue Wahoos conclude their regular season schedule on Sunday before shifting focus to the Southern League divisional series opener on September 15.
