RAF announced Tuesday that Nickal is set to wrestle Olympic wrestling champion Shirvani Muradov at the upcoming RAF Moscow event, which is headlined by Chimaev vs. Woodley, on Sept. 5. A subsequent matchup with MMA veteran Yoel Romero fell through, but Nickal is already scheduled to face 2026 NCAA Division-I champion Max McEnelly at RAF 12 on Aug. 22 and then square off with Muradov. Nickal won three consecutive NCAA Division-I championships before transitioning to MMA as one of the most hyped prospects in years. He is currently 6-1 in the UFC, with his most recent win being a first-round knockout over Kyle Daukaus at UFC White House. Muradov makes his RAF debut. He won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at 96 kg. (approx. 212 pounds) representing Russia. RAF Moscow airs live on Fox Nation on Sept. 5 In the main event, former UFC champions Khamzat Chimaev and Tyron Woodley square off.
