Bob Huggins, the legendary former head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats basketball team, will be inducted into the UC James P. Kelly Athletic Hall of Fame on October 23. Huggins, who led the Bearcats to 14 NCAA Tournament appearances and a Final Four in 1992, is already a member of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. The announcement was made by UC athletic director John Cunningham during a visit by Huggins' former players. Huggins won 399 games during his tenure with the Bearcats from 1989 to 2005, establishing himself as the all-time wins leader at the university. His induction will coincide with the 100th Homecoming event for the Bearcats football team.
