Bochum managing director discusses potential Leon Goretzka return

VfL Bochum's managing director Ilja Kaenzig has expressed hope for a future return of current Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka to his hometown club. Kaenzig highlighted Goretzka's pride in representing Bochum and mentioned the possibility of a return once the Ruhrstadion is fully renovated. Goretzka previously played for Bochum during the 2012-13 season, making 36 appearances and contributing four goals and eight assists. While a comeback is desired, it appears more likely Goretzka will pursue opportunities abroad first.
