Bologna FC 1909 signs forward Samuel Mbangula on loan from Werder Bremen

Bologna FC 1909 has added forward Samuel Mbangula to its roster on a loan deal from SV Werder Bremen that lasts until 30 June 2027. The agreement includes an option for the Serie A club to make the transfer permanent at a later date. Mbangula, an attacking winger, joins the team following a season in the Bundesliga where he made 26 league appearances. Before his time in Germany, the Brussels-born player spent time in the Juventus academy and represented the Juventus Next Gen squad. He also earned a senior national team call-up for Belgium in November 2024. Mbangula becomes the seventh Belgian player to feature for Bologna FC 1909.
