Bologna pursues Marcel Sabitzer from Borussia Dortmund, seeks bargain

Bologna is reportedly preparing to acquire Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, who may become a free agent at the end of the season. With Dortmund unlikely to renew his contract, Bologna sees this summer as their last opportunity to secure a transfer fee. New coach Domenico Tedesco is looking to bolster the squad, and Sabitzer, who has extensive experience including stints with RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich, could be a valuable addition. Last season, he made 34 competitive appearances for Dortmund, scoring one goal and providing four assists, following recovery from a knee injury. Talks between the clubs are expected to begin soon.
