Bono, Hernandez face off as Morocco meets France in World Cup quarter-finals
Summary

Yassine Bono and Theo Hernandez, teammates at Al Hilal, prepare to oppose each other when Morocco faces France in the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals on July 11 in Boston. Bono has been instrumental for Morocco, having secured a spot in the knockout stage by saving a penalty against the Netherlands. This match comes with historical context as Morocco seeks revenge after losing to France in the last World Cup's semi-finals. Both players will once again have much at stake, with Bono aiming to lead Morocco deep into the tournament and Hernandez looking to rebound from France's prior disappointment in a World Cup final.
