Boonsboro twirler Macie Schultz earns national title and Team USA spot

Macie Schultz, a student from Boonsboro High School, won the title of Junior Miss Majorette of America at the National Baton Twirling Association’s Youth on Parade Nationals held at the University of Notre Dame. Competing against 56 other twirlers, Schultz excelled in solo, strut, and modeling/interview competitions. Alongside her title, she received the Miss Bonnie Baxter Scholarship for her talent and dedication. Schultz qualified to represent Team USA at the World Federation of National Baton Twirling Associations World Championships, set for March 24-28 in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. She also twirls for the M Twirling Team and plays a role as a feature twirler for the South Hagerstown High School Rebel Marching Band.
