I’m ready to shut everybody up,” Boots says. “I’m expecting him to do what he always do and I’m going to capitalize on every mistake that he make and I’m going to show him why I’m really like that.” Trainer Bozy Ennis shared some of his own insights into the preparations for this fight, believing the onus will be on Zayas to come at his very best. “I want to see Xander take Boots to another level,” Bozy would say of the matchup. “People still ain’t seen what really he can do. He can box, he can move — but he like to rumble. That’s what people come pay to see. He like to fight. ” Even still, Bozy takes no credit away from the champion. “I like Xander as a fighter, he’s a good fighter, man,” Bozy assessed. “To me, he got a good jab, he can box and he got [heart].” From chopping wood to candy aisle runs in order to carb-load, you can watch Boots go through all his paces as he attempts to knock off a young and confident champion later this month.
