Boreham Wood rejects £1m bid for forward Abdul Abdulmalik from Djurgarden

Summary

Boreham Wood has turned down a £1m bid from Swedish side Djurgarden for forward Abdul Abdulmalik. The interest comes after Abdulmalik's impressive season in 2025-26, where he scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists, helping his team reach the National League play-off final. His journey included time with Millwall, where he won accolades in their youth system before being released in 2024. Djurgarden appears keen to invest in Abdulmalik based on his potential, continuing their strategy of identifying talent before it peaks.
