Borussia Dortmund attempts to sign Marcel Reguła after summer miss

Summary

Borussia Dortmund is set to make another attempt to sign Marcel Reguła, according to Ruhr Nachrichten. The club missed out on the 19-year-old winger from Zaglebie Lubin during the summer transfer window due to an injury to Giannis Konstantelias that forced a shift in their plans. Dortmund signed Ethan Nwaneri on loan instead, which exhausted financial resources for further signings. Sporting director Ole Book stated that the team is monitoring Reguła's situation and may need to make room by offloading a player first. Reguła has been recognized for his performances, earning the Best Young Player of the Season award last year and scoring twice in nine matches this season.
