Borussia Dortmund faces key defensive decisions following Bundesliga season

With the conclusion of the Bundesliga season, Borussia Dortmund is preparing for a significant roster overhaul. Departures of players like Julian Brandt and Niklas Süle, who announced his retirement, have left notable gaps in the squad. New signing Joane Gadou from RB Salzburg adds some depth, but uncertainties around players like Nico Schlotterbeck and Ramy Bensebaini complicate the situation. Considering the potential for further departures, Dortmund must act swiftly in the transfer market to fortify their defensive line. Options being discussed include promoting from within and potential signings such as Kacper Potulski from Mainz.
