Borussia Dortmund hosts SC Paderborn in Bundesliga match at Westfalenstadion

Borussia Dortmund welcomes SC Paderborn to the Westfalenstadion this Saturday at 15:30 CET for their third Bundesliga fixture of the season. Borussia Dortmund enters the match aiming to maintain an unbeaten start to the league campaign following a recent win against TSG Hoffenheim. Manager Niko Kovač confirmed the return of Nico Schlotterbeck and Ramy Bensebaini to the squad, though Emre Can and Giannis Konstantelias remain unavailable due to injury. Conversely, SC Paderborn seeks its first win after promotion to the topflight, having recorded a draw against Mainz and a loss to SC Freiburg. While the visitors have maintained defensive stability, they face a Borussia Dortmund team that finished the previous season with 15 clean sheets. The two sides last met in February 2021, when Borussia Dortmund secured a victory during the DFB-Pokal.
