Borussia Mönchengladbach reaches verbal agreement to loan winger Nicolas Kühn from Como

Borussia Mönchengladbach is finalizing a deal to bring Nicolas Kühn back to the Bundesliga on a loan agreement from Italian club Como. The 26-year-old winger is currently undergoing a medical examination ahead of the potential transfer. The move includes an option for Borussia Mönchengladbach to purchase the player at the conclusion of the season. Kühn joined Como for €19 million in the summer of 2025 but struggled for consistent production, recording one goal and two assists in 25 total appearances. The former RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich youth prospect previously played for Celtic before his transition to Serie A. If the medical check proceeds without complications, the clubs will formalize the contract agreements.
