Boston Bruins face uncertainty ahead of 2026-27 NHL season

Summary

The Boston Bruins enter the 2026-27 NHL season with concerns following last year's playoff exit. Eliminated by the Buffalo Sabres in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, the team made several offseason moves, including acquiring Ivan Ivan and J.J. Peterka. However, the loss of Viktor Arvidsson to free agency had a significant impact, with analysts highlighting troubling underlying performance metrics.
