Boston Celtics waive guard Hank Morgan after training camp signing

The Boston Celtics waived guard Hank Morgan on Friday, September 11. Morgan originally joined the organization on a training camp deal. By waiving him, the team makes the former Hamilton College standout eligible for a bonus of up to $91,000 if he plays for the Maine Celtics, the Boston Celtics' G League affiliate. This move allows Morgan to continue his professional development within the franchise's system. Morgan previously appeared in 17 games for the Maine Celtics, where he averaged 8.2 points and shot 43.8 percent from three-point range. He also participated in four games with the Boston Celtics during the Summer League. The guard previously earned NESCAC Player of the Year honors at the Division III level and spent part of last season with the Salt Lake City Stars.
