Boston College linebacker Bodie Kahoun hospitalized after injury against Rutgers

Boston College linebacker Bodie Kahoun was transported to a local hospital on Friday following an injury during the game against Rutgers at Alumni Stadium. The redshirt sophomore sustained the injury while assisting with a tackle in the second quarter. Medical personnel placed Kahoun on a backboard and moved him to an ambulance positioned on the field. Boston College officials confirmed that Kahoun retained movement in all extremities before he departed the stadium. He previously played for Notre Dame before transferring to the Boston College program for the 2026 campaign. Coach Bill O'Brien described the incident as a difficult situation for the team, which paused the game to acknowledge the player as he left the field.
