Brad Smith ranked No. 20 on Independence Bowl all-time player list

Former Missouri quarterback Brad Smith has been named No. 20 on the Independence Bowl's all-time top 50 player list. Smith played in two I-Bowls, leading Missouri to a 38-31 victory over South Carolina in 2005 after a loss to Arkansas in 2003. His standout 2005 performance included 282 passing yards and 150 rushing yards, earning him Offensive Player of the Game honors. Smith's college career featured over 1,000 rushing yards in three seasons and multiple records in Division 1-A history. He was drafted by the New York Jets in 2006, playing nine NFL seasons as a versatile offensive weapon.
