Braden Fiske reflects on Los Angeles Rams trading teammate Jared Verse

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Braden Fiske recently addressed the team’s June 1 trade that sent his close friend and teammate Jared Verse to the Cleveland Browns. The deal, which brought pass rusher Myles Garrett to Los Angeles, was finalized after the Rams included three draft picks alongside Verse. Fiske described the moment he learned of the trade as a personal shock while the team was in a meeting. Although he acknowledged the difficulty of losing a teammate he had played with since their time at Florida State, Fiske noted the challenge of adjusting to the roster change. The Rams defensive front has since evolved with the return of Aaron Donald from retirement, placing Fiske among a group of veterans as the team moves forward.
