Brady Tkachuk prepares for first season with Florida Panthers

Brady Tkachuk joined his new Florida Panthers teammates at the NHL/NHLPA North American Player Media Tour in Las Vegas this week. After spending five seasons as captain of the Ottawa Senators, Tkachuk transitioned to Florida following a trade on June 21 that involved three first-round draft picks. He is now set to play alongside his brother, Matthew Tkachuk, for the first time in their NHL careers. The Panthers are focusing on rebounding from a season that resulted in them missing the playoffs for the first time in six years. Tkachuk is scheduled to return to Ottawa to face his former team on October 21. Training camp for the Florida Panthers begins September 17 in Fort Lauderdale, leading into the season opener against the Carolina Hurricanes on September 29.
