Brandin Cooks signs with 49ers practice squad amid injury concerns

Brandin Cooks has signed with the San Francisco 49ers practice squad as they deal with multiple wide receiver injuries. The veteran receiver, who spent part of the 2025 season with the Buffalo Bills, will help provide depth after the team lost Ricky Pearsall, De'Zhaun Stribling, and Demarcus Robinson. Cooks is in his 13th NFL season and needs just 189 receiving yards to reach 10,000 for his career. He was also recently worked out by the Baltimore Ravens, another contender in the AFC, prior to his signing with the 49ers.
