Brandon Aiyuk's hopes dim after Commanders sign Stefon Diggs

Brandon Aiyuk remains on the San Francisco 49ers’ reserve list, following the Washington Commanders' signing of Stefon Diggs to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million. Aiyuk expressed interest in joining the Commanders and had previously posted his desire to play for the team on social media. However, with the acquisition of Diggs, Aiyuk's chances of joining Washington appear diminished. He has not played since suffering a torn ACL in Week 7 of the 2024 season and is still on the reserve/left squad list. Aiyuk’s future actions may involve requesting a meeting with the 49ers to address his status.
