Brandon Coleman prepares for potential center role with Commanders

Brandon Coleman, an offensive lineman for the Washington Commanders, is training this summer to be ready for center duties amid concerns about Nick Allegretti's calf injury. Allegretti is expected to miss about a week of practice, leaving the team with limited experience at the position. Julian Good-Jones and rookie Matt Gulbin have taken snaps in his absence but both have minimal NFL experience. Head coach Dan Quinn is also having other linemen, including Coleman, take snaps at center to ensure readiness.
