Brandon Williams joins Warriors on one-year, $2.6 million contract

Free agent guard Brandon Williams has signed a one-year, $2.6 million contract with the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, the second player the team has added in two days. Forward Georges Niang signed for the veteran league minimum of $3.9 million over one year in a deal announced Tuesday. The 26-year-old Williams averaged career bests of 13.0 points, 3.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds over 66 games with 15 starts for Dallas last season.
