- 2:15 AMCageside Seats — Braun Strowman wants WWE to pay him a ton of money to kick Oba Femi’s ass
"WWE recently had a problem where nobody in the Raw locker room was brave enough or dumb enough to answer the Oba Femi Open Challenge. If the concept ever returns, all WWE has to do is pay Braun Strowman a ton of money and he’ll gladly return to kick The Ruler’s ass. That’s essentially what he said in a new interview on the Battleground podcast. “Money’s right, I’m down to do about anything. I’ll try anything twice to make sure I don’t like it. But hey, yeah…you want to back that Brinks truck up, dump some gold bullion on my porch, I’ll come whip that young kid’s ass real quick. It didn’t look like it took Brock too much this time to do it this last weekend.” The Monster Among Men goes on to praise Oba. He says it’s up to WWE to pull its head out of its ass and print money by booking this obvious monster match. Just leave the backstage politics out of it. “Don’t get me wrong, Oba’s very impressive, all goofing aside. The kid’s got a hell of a future in front of him. He’s quite the specimen, and stuff like that. And like I said, if WWE [pulls] their head out of their you-know-what and have some common sense, we can make a lot of money. But that is what it is. Business is business. I’m enjoying the hell out of being the host of the number one food television show on cable television, Everything on the Menu. So like I said, to pull me away from the table, it’s gonna take a hell of a number…this has been very fun for my belly, my bank account, my family, for everybody, and I’m loving it. I miss the ring. Don’t get me wrong. I miss being in the ring. I miss being in the locker room with the boys. I miss the pop. I miss the fans. I don’t miss the politics and the bull crap that comes along with it. They can still [do that] over there and argue and do all that stuff. I’ll being over here eating food with my friends.” Braun also said that if the money is right, he’ll gladly turn into the Strowmanhausen monster that’s currently hidden under that sheet in Danhausen’s science laboratory. How badly do you want to see Braun Strowman return to WWE for a match against Oba Femi? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
