Braves aim for series sweep against Nationals as Ritchie starts

The Atlanta Braves face the Washington Nationals on August 2 at Truist Park. In their previous game, Martín Pérez led the Braves to an 8-3 win. Atlanta seeks to complete a four-game series sweep today, with JR Ritchie taking the mound against Cade Cavalli. Ritchie, recalled from Gwinnett, has not started a game since June. Cavalli has a streak of four quality starts. The matchup is a rematch from late April where Ritchie earned a win.
