Braves face challenges in offseason with key player decisions looming

The Atlanta Braves, after being eliminated by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS, are preparing for a challenging offseason. Key concerns include a weak shortstop free agent class, potential cost-cutting measures such as letting closer Raisel Iglesias go, and uncertainty surrounding starting pitcher Tyler Mahle's future. Experts predict that the Braves might rely on Mauricio Dubon as their shortstop solution, which some view as disappointing. Re-signing Mahle is a priority, but competition for his services could lead to him departing, leaving the Braves to trust their younger arms moving forward.
