The Atlanta Braves are looking at Jacob deGrom as a trade target following the Texas Rangers' recent loss to the Houston Astros. This loss positioned the Rangers as sellers ahead of the trade deadline, potentially placing deGrom on the market. The pitcher has a no-trade clause, but reports suggest he might waive it to join a contender like the Braves, located closer to his home in Florida. Atlanta has already secured starting pitchers Tyler Mahle and Bailey Falter in previous trades, driven by injuries within their rotation, including Reynaldo Lopez and Spencer Strider. The Braves are actively seeking to strengthen their pitching staff as the trade deadline approaches.
