Braves place Spencer Strider on 15-day IL with elbow inflammation

The Atlanta Braves have placed starting pitcher Spencer Strider on the 15-day injured list due to right elbow inflammation. The announcement came following Strider's start against the New York Mets, where he was pulled after three innings. In his absence, the Braves called up RHP Anthony Molina from the minor leagues. Strider, who has a 4-2 record and a 5.31 ERA this season, previously had elbow surgery in 2024.
