Braves refuse to trade Fuentes for Skubal ahead of ALCS matchup

The Atlanta Braves declined to trade Didier Fuentes to the Detroit Tigers as part of a package for Tarik Skubal during the trade deadline. Sources indicate that the Braves have high regard for Fuentes, a 21-year-old pitcher who has shown promise in his first full MLB season. His performances, especially from the bullpen, have led to speculation about his future role in the Braves' rotation. The news comes amid the team's preparation for the ALCS, where they are poised to face a strong opponent after a competitive season.
