Braves start Martín Pérez against Mets tonight in Atlanta

The Atlanta Braves face the New York Mets tonight at Truist Park at 7:15 PM EDT, looking to rebound from a loss in game one of the series. Martín Pérez, who struggled against the Mets earlier this month, takes the mound, aiming for a better performance. Pérez has posted a 3.14 ERA this season but has an expected ERA of 4.32, suggesting some luck in his current performance. His last outing against the Mets saw him allow four earned runs over 4.1 innings. Nolan McLean will pitch for the Mets, fresh off a decent outing in the same game. Team statistics indicate both offenses have scored similarly since the All-Star break.
