Brazilian referees officiate knockout matches in World Cup

Brazilian referees will feature prominently in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup on Wednesday, July 1. Raphael Claus is set to referee the match between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, kickoff at 9 p.m. (Brasília time). Danilo Manis and Rodrigo Figueiredo will serve as assistants. Additionally, Rodolpho Toski will act as Assistant Video Referee (AVAR) for the match between Belgium and Senegal, scheduled for 5 p.m. (Brasília time) at Seattle Stadium.
