Breel Embolo prepares for Atlanta United debut against Inter Miami

Swiss international Breel Embolo is available to make his Atlanta United debut during Saturday’s match against Inter Miami CF. The striker is the newest Designated Player for an Atlanta squad that has recorded the fewest goals in the Eastern Conference this season. The club also bolstered its roster with defensive arrivals Júnior Alonso and Paulo Díaz, alongside new U22 Initiative midfielder Mauricio Amaro. Giuliano Galoppo joined the team on loan from River Plate as part of an aggressive summer recruitment effort. Atlanta currently faces a period of evaluation as they attempt to integrate five new players and improve their standing in the final stretch of the season. Manager Tata Martino will oversee the lineup as the club looks to recover from a recent loss to Charlotte FC.
