Brennen Lacey decommits from LSU football recruiting class

Brennen Lacey, a three-star running back from Frisco, Texas, announced his decision to decommit from the LSU Tigers on social media. He expressed gratitude towards the coaching staff for their support during his recruitment process. Lacey, who has not had a substantial workload this season, had previously committed to LSU on June 7 and is ranked as the No. 505 overall player and No. 33 running back by 247Sports. LSU still has two remaining running back commitments for its 2027 recruiting class, both four-star prospects. The Tigers currently hold the 11th best recruiting class in the nation, with 16 overall commitments.
