Brenton Paul shines as TSU football secures first win against Florida A&M

Freshman running back Brenton Paul led Tennessee State University to a 29-26 victory over Florida A&M on September 19. This win marked TSU's first of the season, snapping an eight-game losing streak, the longest in the program's history. Paul scored three touchdowns and contributed significantly in both the running and passing game, finishing with 92 rushing yards and 36 receiving yards. The team performed well offensively, recording their best offensive output of the season with 390 total yards. TSU will have a bye week before facing Western Illinois on October 3 in their Ohio Valley Conference opener.
