Brewers gear up for first World Series since 1982 against Rays

The Milwaukee Brewers are preparing for their first World Series appearance since 1982, following their sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. The team’s postseason success has redirected fan attention in Wisconsin from the Packers to baseball, as evidenced by chants heard at Lambeau Field. Brewers broadcaster Jeff Levering highlighted this shift, noting the growing enthusiasm for the Brewers during this historic run. Game 1 of the World Series is scheduled for Friday at American Family Field in Milwaukee, where the Brewers will face the Tampa Bay Rays, who advanced by defeating Cleveland.
