The Milwaukee Brewers drafted Chase Mora from Texas State University as a pitcher with the 281st overall pick in the ninth round of the 2026 MLB draft on July 13. Mora, who holds the Bobcats' record for career home runs, transitioned to pitching despite having limited experience on the mound, having pitched only 1⅓ innings in college.
