Brewers send Braylon Payne and others to Arizona Fall League

Braylon Payne, a first-round pick in 2024, is among seven Milwaukee Brewers prospects heading to the Arizona Fall League. The league runs from October 3 to November 14, where the Brewers will compete as the Scottsdale Scorpions. Payne recently helped the Class AA Biloxi Shuckers reach the playoffs and boasted a strong season with a.910 OPS, 28 home runs, and 25 steals. Eric Bitonti, also joining Payne, set a franchise record with 25 home runs this year. Other Brewers heading to the Fall League include Matt Wood and pitchers Ryan Birchard, Miqueas Mercedes, Jose Meneses, and Josh Quezada.
