Bri Tigges, an outfielder from Des Moines Area Community College, has committed to play for the Iowa State softball team for the 2026-27 season. She is the fourth addition from the transfer portal this offseason, joining Kennedy Diggs, Maggie Werner, and Taylor Platt. Tigges had a standout career at DMACC, compiling a.381 batting average with 147 hits, 29 doubles, five triples, and 23 home runs over two seasons. Her notable performances included a highlight catch in the NJCAA championship run. Serving as a significant addition to Iowa State's roster, Tigges will bring valuable experience just 19 minutes from her former college.
