Brian Ortega will not compete against Renato Moicano at UFC 331 due to an injury. The bout was scheduled for September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Moicano will instead headline UFC Fight Night 292 against Tom Nolan on October 31 in Las Vegas. This marks the second cancellation of Ortega vs. Moicano 2; their first matchup was postponed in March when Ortega withdrew for the same reason. Moicano previously won against Chris Duncan while awaiting a rescheduled bout against Ortega.
